Welcome to the Official Loggerodeo™ at the Chainsaw Carving Capitol of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest in Sedro-Woolley, WA!!

We are celebrating the longest running 4th of July celebration in Washington State. Sedro-Woolley will Host numerous events and activities during the 4th of July celebration: Loggerodeo™, as well as the longest running International, Invitation only, Chainsaw carving competition.

There are two main events for the “Loggerodeo™” are the Logging Exposition and the Chainsaw Carving Competition. For the Logging Exposition is where the Loggers show off there skills in Pole Climbing, Axe Throwing, Choker Setting, and Single Buck and Double Buck Crosscut Saw.

For the Chainsaw Carving Competition there are two competition going here one is there main or Masterpiece carve where the carvers whittle down an 8ft by 3ft Piece of Cedar or Redwood log into some of the most amazing art forms found anywhere. This goes on every day that the Loggerodeo™ is going and is Judged on the last day.

The second part of the Chainsaw Carving Competition is the Quick Carve that happens once a day that the show is going on during the competition and at the end of every day there is an auction for the Quick Carvings for that day.

At the same time as the Loggerodeo on the 3rd and 4th of July the PCRA has there own Events going on at the PCRA Rodeo Grounds at Highway 20 and Polte Road. The Loggerodeo and the PCRA Rodeo are a separate Events and have there own board of Directors but work together to bring the Best 4th of July celebration to Sedro-Woolley and Skagit Valley. • 2024 The Logging Exposition, is back its going to be Jr. logging Expo. if you have students in the 8th grade moving to Freshman to graduating seniors, The Forms are online here or you can pickup where we are. need to have registration and Parent waver signed and submitted before 10:00am on July 6th 2024.                                                                                                                                                                    
• The F.F.A. of Sedro-Woolley High School had a Petting Zoo at the Carnival grounds at Riverfront Park seamed like a sucess.          
• Sedro-Woolley Loggerodeo™, is the winner of Skagit Valley Best of the Best 2023, For Festival/Fair.                  
• We would like to thank all of our staff that volunteered their time to put on this fantastic festival.                    
• We would also like to give a shout out for the Sedro-Woolley F.F.A. that provided volunteers to sweep out carvers working areas as the Carvers are working, to keep them safe throughout the day                                 
• The older carvings from Loggerodeo's past, around Sedro-Woolley have been cleaned, repaired, and sealed. The repair work was done the first week in April 2024. When website is fixed it will be up in the gallery. 
• We need to thank the Mount Baker Area Council Of the Boy Scouts Troup #4070 for the hard work they did during the auction for watching the carving area's this Year.
