The year 2020 will be remembered in history. The COVID-19 virus has changed many lives. Some of us have learned to sacrifice things like high school seniors missing out on graduation and many of us are learning how to be a family again by staying home and doing things together. History has given us many obstacles to tackle such as world wars, polio, measles, the Spanish Flu and the Great Depression, to name just a few. We have survived and persevered to keep living and continue on. We will overcome this also.

That being said, the Loggerodeo™ board has regrettably made the decision to cancel the 2020 Loggerodeo™ Fourth of July celebration. We have given a lot of consideration and thought to this decision. Because of the number of people that attend these events, we feel that it is best to cancel so that we do not put anybody in jeopardy of contracting this virus. All it takes is one person to get many sick. Our board feels that we all needed something positive and fun for a change but there's too much risk involved.

On a positive note, we are hoping to have fireworks and the chainsaw carving event later on in September. We do not have the dates as of now but stay tuned.

Davis Shows Northwest brings us the amazing carnival.

60 Years of Quality Family Entertainment
Owned and operated by Pat and Geraldine Davis, Davis Shows NW, Inc., is a family oriented traveling carnival. Pat’s parents, Mannie & Melba Davis opened Davis Amusement Company back in 1950 and passed on the family tradition of providing quality rides and games in a carnival atmosphere to their children.

At Davis Shows NW, we take great pride in providing safe family oriented rides, games, and quality food concessions throughout the season. As a traveling amusement company, we are able to offer our family friendly carnival experience at fair grounds, shopping centers, and other prime locations in the Pacific Northwest.

Every year from March through September we bring our show to multiple destinations all over Washington and Oregon. We also service some locations in Nevada and Idaho.

Carnival bracelets are $28 per person, per day. Wristbands allow you to ride unlimited rides for one day at the carnival.

There will be a carnival bracelet pre-sale beginning at the 'Blast from the Past' event. Pre-sale bracelets are $23 and when you purchase one you will receive a coupon to take to the ticket booth at the carnival on the day of your choice to exchange for a bracelet. Lost tickets will not be reimbursed.  Tickets are no longer available.

Then when the sun goes down it’s time to enjoy Sedro Woolley’s Patriotic Firework show at Riverside Park on the 4th of July.

Brilliant blasts of exploding color light up the black night sky in grand display this July 4th, starting at dusk at Riverfront Park. It’s the highlight event for many youngsters and old alike. Many assemble to watch and “oooh and aaah” over the sparkling sky’s show, bringing the celebration to a climax – ending with a big bang, as the grand finale of the patriotic annual Loggerodeo tradition.

An ideal location, Riverfront Park accommodates plenty of room for parking where spectators can enjoy the park setting for a great open view of the fireworks display. With its convenient location right next to the carnival, there is still time to visit the carnival after the fireworks show ends as it is open until midnight. Come for night to celebrate great patriotic tradition, an event you don’t want to miss.

Fireworks are provided by Western Display Fireworks of Camby, Oregon.
